Our Story

The idea for the ParentPreneurs was born in 2018 after Magda, Julia and Toma went through an incubator program for parents at Google for Startups. It was clear to the three of them: We need more of it! More targeted support for parent founders and a new image of parents in business and society. A picture that shows that parents may have limited resources, but know how to use these better than most in order to change the world for the better. With great business ideas and lots of energy!

The juggleHUB is the Berliner Home Base

With the growing community, Katja, co-founder of juggleHUB Coworking, one of the few coworking spaces and founder hubs that consistently takes the needs of parents into account, also came on board. The juggleHUB with its creative work and event rooms as well as the flexible on-site childcare became the new home base of the ParentPreneurs.

The first meetups and workshops started there in October 2019. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive – the parentpreneurs hit a nerve. Finally, Nora completed the five-person Berlin team. In January 2020, Google for Startups got involved as a sponsor. In May 2020, despite the Corona crisis, the first Munich chapter started – with Lidia, Janna and Jasmin as organizers. The motto: Right now we need value-driven start-ups that create value AND are sustainable.

Our offer

We support parents in all phases of the start-up process with a strong network, workshops and innovative learning formats, mentoring, coaching and much more.
At the same time, we are the point of contact for organizations that are wondering how they can support employees who are parents in a targeted manner as a driver of innovation. Parentpreneurship also includes “intrapreneurship”, i.e. the spin-off of new, future-oriented business models within companies. A lot of untapped potential lies dormant here. We help organizations raise it and strategically bring parenting and organizational development together.

Let’s work together!
