What does the term “ParentPreneurs” stand for?

The term combines “Parenthood” and “Entrepreneurship”. We think that both experiences have a lot in common. And that parental leave is the perfect time to start a business. If we want a diverse start-up landscape, we should start creating structures in which people with children can found with equal opportunities. This is also what “ParentPreneurship” stands for.

Do I have to have children to attend ParentPreneurs events?

Our meetups and workshops are aimed specifically at founders with children. The interaction between business and family plays a large role both in the selection of topics and in the content of all ParentPreneurs Sessions. But of course our events are open to all people who want to support other parent founders with their knowledge and experience or who simply want a change of perspective.

How can I register for events?

Our channel for events is Meetup. To register, please join the meetup group and confirm your participation for the respective event.

Can I bring my children to the events?

Yes, of course. Depending on the location, we may also offer free childcare. But you can also bring your kids to the event.

I haven't founded yet - can I still join the network?

Absolutely! What counts is the mindset, i.e. the desire and openness to use your own skills to help shape your own future, a product, a company, etc.

I need individual support when starting up. Who can I contact?

We also offer intensive support for start-up projects. For more information on formats and framework conditions, simply contact Katja.
